CORCORAN SUNSHINE president Kelly Kennedy Mack has been named the first winner of the New York University Distinguished Young Alumna Award.

The award recognizes an NYU graduate, 35 or younger, for outstanding achievement in business or professional life.

Mack, 35, was joined by fellow honorees in three other categories: Maria Bartiromo, anchor of CNBC's "Closing Bell" and host of the "Wall Street Journal Report with Maria Bartiromo"; Abraham Foxman, national director ofthe Anti-Defamation League; and Inonge Mbikusita-Lewanika, Zambia's ambassador to the United States.

NYU President John Sexton said Mack's "meteoric rise" at the Corcoran Sunshine company "has resulted in the company's undeniable success during one of the most challenging times in real state history. You bring pride to the NYU community."

Mack joined Corcoran Sunshine after graduating, in 2002, from the Leonard N. Stem School of Business.
