Lindsay Barton Barrett, SVP Senior Vice President
2009 Union Square Salesperson of the Year
As a Vice President at the Corcoran Group and a former real estate attorney I have a wealth of experience and expertise and a track record of success to make good on my promises. My promise to you is that I will make the process of buying or selling your home as smooth and stress free as possible. Satisfied clients consistently rave that I have made a potentially perilous situation exciting and enjoyable (and profitable). I know what you are going through in buying or selling your home, and I will constantly monitor the process of any deal, taking the job of problem-solving off your plate. My thriving business is founded on service, professionalism and market expertise and I will bring that to bear for you. My objective is to help you obtain the highest sale price for your property or to find the just the right home or investment property for you.
Prior to joining the Corcoran Group, I worked as a real estate lawyer at a prestigious midtown law firm. My time as a real estate lawyer served as an ideal preparation for my career here at the Corcoran Group, providing me with knowledge of the New York real estate market, an understanding of what it really means to represent a client and the ability to advocate for my client during the toughest but most important negotiations. Just as I did during my time in a law firm, I will put in the extra hours for you and do what needs to be done with the most precise attention to detail.
I love New York and all it has to offer - real estate is just one of its myriad assets. I have lived in almost every New York neighborhood - Upper (Upper) West Side, Central Park West, Greenwich Village, the East Village and Cobble Hill, where I have lived for several years. If there is a neighborhood you are considering, I know it. I have sold properties on Park Avenue, the Upper East and Upper West Sides, in NoLita, Tribeca, Chelsea, and all over Brooklyn. I would love to help you explore your options.
I grew up in Seattle, Washington and attended Cornell University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations. I received my law degree from Columbia University School of Law.
When I'm not busy working, I spend time with my young daughter or talking real estate with my husband Alex, an architect and real estate developer. I am also an avid yogi.
Please call or e-mail me with any questions you might have about Manhattan or Brooklyn real estate.
